Don Rafael speaks from the steps of La Mercè
The Nationalist leader speaks without notes on stability and sanctity, rhyming in his cardinal virtue with the counsel lately heard upon the Rambla.

BARCELONA — Don Rafael Miró-Castellà, leader of the Nationalist Party, yesterday addressed a considerable gathering from the steps of the Basílica de la Mercè, speaking, as is his custom, without notes and at some length. His theme was stability and sanctity; his text, the hour through which the commonwealth is passing.
The Herald has, in recent days, given respectful notice to Don Rafael's essay in the Editor Network, which rhymes in its cardinal virtue with the counsel of Don Cordoba on the Rambla. Yesterday's address travelled the same ground in a warmer key, calling upon the faithful to steadiness in the markets, charity at the hospital door, and vigilance at the frontier.
We note the address without further gloss, and commend to the reader the fuller account which will appear in next week's Sunday supplement.
