The Opposition Leader, from the steps
The Opposition Leader's Friday op-ed is acknowledged here; parity of coverage has been paid this week.

Renko's op-ed, submitted Friday through the editor network under the heading "The Cordoba Cartel's Grip on Almaria," has been summarised here rather than reprinted. The Opposition Leader's argument — that the quarantine at berth seven and the corridor surcharges are symptoms of a single concentration of private power over the Kingdom's maritime infrastructure — is one he has made, in various registers, since the spring, and it has not gained in precision this week.
The piece names the Moll Gran pier, the Poniente and the Llevant manifests, and, characteristically, the Proprietor of this newspaper. The Herald has, over the past seven days, printed Renko's positions on the fuel vote, the Passeig de la Llum attack, and the Sant Elm promenade; parity of coverage has been maintained, and will be.
The fuller argument, readers may judge for themselves, belongs to the pamphlet tradition rather than to the Chamber's order paper. Monday's vote will be decided on the latter.
